'Storm' 5mm Diving Gloves

Wow! How nice and warm these are, fit perfectly on my small hands lol.

They fit on the snugger side, but you kinda want that in kayak gloves for the winter. These are a pretty solid glove with one draw back to them. They just don’t have as much grip as i was hoping for, but they work fine enough. They kept my hands dry and warm while i was out paddling and that’s really all that matters to me.Update: 9 Dec 2020I went out paddling for a few hours the other day. (Temperature was 40 degrees, light breeze out of the north.) My hands stayed dry the entire time, which was fantastic, but i did not have as much grip on the paddle as i had hoped. After paddling for about an 1-1/2 my hands started to get very cold. I was not to happy about that either. Although they are still decent gloves, I can’t say I’d give them 5 stars anymore, but a solid 4 is still in order. Oh and I’d also like to point out that you can not access your phone or watch while wearing them, that was kind of a bummer. That’s it!

Bought these gloves in the 3mm for cold water kayaking in the PNW. Gloves came perfectly according to the sizing chart, snug, but flexible for grip and grabbing onto things. The stitching and seams are tight and water tight. Gloves keep my hand pretty warm out on 30-40 degree morning temperatures on the water. I had been using a pair of full finger paddling gloves and mid way through a paddle I could scarcely feel my fingers, that is not an issue with these gloves. The customer service and support from Surf and Snow warehouse has been outstanding! I will definitely be shopping with these folks again!

I ordered these gloves as a replacement for some worn-out Husky working gloves that I use for spearfishing and lobster diving. In all honesty, I bought these hoping they'd just be OK for the money. Man was I blown away. The gloves came in matching their size description exactly, in excellent condition, and were clearly made of quality material. The additional tightening strap around the wrist is a nice touch giving the glove a more secure and "water-tight" feel. I even received a follow up email from the seller welcoming any kind of feedback. I cannot currently comment on durability, but as we're just now getting into lobster season in San Diego I'm about to put these things through the wringer and will update on how they fare. However, I am extremely impressed out of the box.**Update** Spearo's be aware that these gloves will not stop spines. Had a rock fish spine puncture the glove and then my palm when grabbed with normal force. If fish are handled properly, this is a non-issue but not a lot of protection if grabbed carelessly. Fish teeth are also rough on the neoprene covering knuckles, but have held up well all things considered. Still highly recommend these gloves.

Just pulled 'em out of the package and they are exactly what I hoped for. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and snug with nice rubberized grip texture on the palms and fingers. They seem like a good, midweight workhorse glove that'll be thick enough to keep you warm without sacrificing too much by way of dexterity. I plan to use them for cold-water kayaking. NB: They seem to run fairly small in both length and circumference for their size. I'm usually a medium or a large in men's cycling and ski gloves. For these I got a large and they just barely fit. Could probably run an XL but I'd rather keep them snug for paddle grip.
